PREREQUISITES:

- TeamSpeak 3.6.2
- RedM
1. ALLOWLISTED
You must be a member of the Discord to play on our servers.
In the Disocrd, got to the #select-games channel and choose the RedM role.
2. SALTYCHAT
We use the SaltyChat plugin for TeamSpeak for our in-game proximity chat.
To install:
3. CONNECT
Start Redm. You will be asked to authorize with Discord - please hit accept.
TeamSpeak IP: goldrushroleplay.teamspeak3.com
RedM Server IP: mwbgidic.filter.evo-filter.com
You can connect to our RedM server by searching for us in the RedM Server browser.
Or via F8 and typing connect mwbgidic.filter.evo-filter.com in the console.
Once in game, go to the settings and disable the in-game voice chat.
If you’re asked if you want to open the .ts3_plugin when you double click your download, you will need to create the file association.
This will allow TeamSpeak to force plugins to be recognized.
To access this app go into the Drive you installed TeamSpeak onto.
For example:
This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > Teamspeak 3 Client > Right click the app “createfileassoc” and run as administrator. Then reopen TeamSpeak.
Note: if you cannot find TeamSpeak 3 Client in any of your Program Files Folders on any of your drives then you will have to do a fresh install of TeamSpeak.
If this doesn’t work then you can try this method:
If you have followed all the steps for installing SaltyChat correctly and if you go to TeamSpeak > Plugin > SaltyChat > Troubleshooting and the WebSocket is running with 0 connections - you likely have a DNS issue.
If you have an IPv6 address, keep in mind to also change the DNS server for IPv6.
Here are some ways to troubleshoot:
Go to your in-game settings and turn off voice chat.
1. CHANGE YOUR ADVANCED VIDEO SETTINGS
In RedM, the first thing to try is very simple and all it requires is to change a single setting.
To do this just hit ESC > Settings > Graphics. Then change your ADVANCED video settings from Vulkan to Direct x12 -- or vice versa.
In FiveM, switching from Direct x11 to Direct x10 can actually GREATLY improve performance for low-end PCs.
Once done all you have to do is restart your game!
If your game is already set to Direct X12 then the issue relies elsewhere -- continue reading below.
2. VERIFY FILE INTEGRITY
3. INITIALIZE YOUR GAME
Load up the base game and play it for around 10 minutes.
The cache copies all of the texture files from the main game.
If you haven't loaded the game up your Game Folder won't have those files by default unless you load up the original game first.
4. DELETE SGA FILES
5. UPDATE DRIVERS
This is a common issue for NVIDIA users.
Sometimes graphics drivers can cause issues on certain games, due to either a bad install or to being unoptimized for the game itself.
To roll back your drivers: Guide
To do a clean driver install: Driver Updating Software
If NONE of these fixes managed to solve your issue, your last hope would be to do a fresh install of both RRD2 and RedM.
